AI programs and apps reviews (reprocesed text)

Its about 2 months since I  jumped into the  AI bandwagon [expression I  know from Klingenfuβ] with lots of interest in trying and validating on how good or bad it is . Knowing  that my English is very good in reading and worse while listening  I decided to use the DeepL write routine to heighten my writing level even with AI  that offered  me much h better resulting text.  Many texts are made for reviewing movies for imdb . but imdb didn’t allow these texts  as they inhibit Ai texts. I don’t know on how they  do it but finally I preferred to write the text in Greek and then use a translator  to convert it into English and then post it there At least this trick shows originality!

 

Below you will find my review on several programs or applications I tested so far with the possibility to add more later: 

 

This is the inaugural system that you can commence utilizing alongside diverse AI systems. It employs a command line interface reminiscent of the one utilized in early 1990s DOS systems.
POE is an integral component of Quora, and even after my two-month experience, I continue to be deeply impressed.  POE functions as a framework that utilizes multiple AI engines, including GPT 3, 3.5, and 4 from OpenAI, Llama from Meta (which is currently and will remain free), Anthropic DALL-E, and Stable Diffusion SD, along with various sub-genres of these engines. DALL-E and SD are exclusively employed for generating artificial intelligence images.   


Note: This text describes various AI engines, including DALL-E and SD, as well as others in development, such as the new one from Google. 
Currently, these engines function exclusively through command line interface, and it remains uncertain whether they will be compatible with the graphic API POE in the future.

Aside from the conventional engines, there exists an extensive roster of bots that are employed for restricted or specialized tasks, as well as limited text replies. As an illustration, I employ two comical chatbots. There is a bot specifically designed for composing song lyrics. The platform additionally enables users to create their own bot and offers detailed guidelines for the process.

It is crucial to acknowledge that certain bots may distort the produced text or fail to generate an image due to policy restrictions (such as NSFW cases) or limitations in their programming. Hayo AI : this is the most sophisticated application I have ever seen so far  . With just 3,5 MB  the program has a lot of utilities  and operations. This is a application from HK and requires singing . Here is just a partial list of what it can do.

• AI characters : these are bots for everything other .This is not limited to NSFW chat !! there are alo bots that mimic well known personas as Socrates Einstein .  
• There is also a prompt listing with more than 15 categories with more than 400 prompts or bots in total. a few  of them can be found also in poe.com

Notice that  nearly all  programs  below contain timer adverts that act as a prize for elongating  the program duration or you go renting program per week, month or year.

 

Now, AI is another application that includes almost everything within it. With around 29 ready prompts, including interview descriptions and the AIDX framework, as well as a separate PDF analyzer (which has been tested but has not produced any results), the AI art feature did not yield good results. The character AI that mimics the voices of well-known personas such as Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, and Elon Musk, as well as psychologists, can be quite annoying. In every task, you need to wait at least 2 seconds, 6 times a week. The good thing is that the adverts can add more time to using it, but they often ask for an upgrade.

Avatar Ai   The adverts are quite annoying, costing 6 euros per week or 35 euros per year. Additionally, with every step, a commercial is added, which adds four more pictures. The AI art program provides fake results, whereas thec Pi to Pic tool offers more accurate results. The watermark always appears in the demo.

Da vinci  The AI photo generator costs 6 euros per week, with a one-time payment required before use. After some attempts to remove it, the program started and displayed an advertisement. It is unclear how this program works.

Photoapp AI: This program offers several useful operations, including photo colorization, old photo restoration, animation, upscaling, and background removal.

However, upscaling requires payment. Waiting for the adverts can add more time to the process of enhancing photos. Overall, it is one of the best programs I have tested, receiving  a 5/5 rating.

 

Face app
This is a programme with a lot of controversy in the news last year (mid22) tsat this site stored users images in their servers. Now a year later, let us hope that this problem has been solved.
This program, which probably uses AI technology, uses various filters such as aging, youthing, gender swapping, face retouching, cartooning and a few more along with lots of nice backgrounds and a few more operations, it's a good program but the bad news "killed the cat". Note that there is an option to display both the original and the resulting images together.

Facetrix
This is an alternative to the previous option, utilizing AI technology as promoted. The service refrains from retaining any user images and solely exhibits them once the operation is initiated. FaceApp utilizes filters that are comparable to those employed. Further alternatives can be accessed when renting the program. The advertisements are non-intrusive. The hair addition feature functions as an overlay on the image and can be customized. Both of these programs feature a button that exhibits the ultimate outcome alongside the original.l.

Morph me vip
The program exhibits numerous issues. Initially, the website displays a multitude of advertisements and prominently features its subscription page. Secondly, the video function fails to work with uploaded photos. Additionally, it lacks the capability to run in the background and obstructs the functionality of the smartphone. I had to pass via with the terms of service in order to unlock the smart phone .

 Audio  Ai programs

Music AI: This program is the most impressive one tested thus far, as it creates song covers by substituting your voice for the main singer's, while preserving the original music as faithfully as possible. It can utilize standard voices in addition to yours. This application yielded the duration of my usage, however, in the free mode, only the initial 8 or 16 seconds can be processed. The price is $5.50 per week for a purchase of 60 items.

Several applications share the same name; however, this program is designated with the humorous moniker "everything is here."This program is operated via voice. Minimalistic Ai This is by far the most intriguing productivity application I've evaluated; it is a bare minimum program with a wealth of useful operations.

It  supports more than130 languages with t ability to translate more than on the same time by simply tagging it ,  The results were very good in the start but  the levels was lessened as  time passes. this is possibly due to the noise or radio interference   which effects clear listening.  Wished it was more than 5 minutes long.

Exclusive to Ai image generation subscriptions  It's very helpful that a dialogue box appears prior to selecting this option, providing some direction.
Two acquaintances were extremely impressed by this program.
Please be aware that this program has a three-hourly limit of three commands. Create for me Such a low rate is extremely challenging to manage.

26 languages are supported by the engine, excluding Greek. A few exotic languages exist, including Indonesian, Tamil, and Tellugu.

A perfect score of five out of five, notwithstanding the issue. In my opinion, the final option is superior due to the limitations of the other options. Put simply, this program can perform virtually any task on your pocket.  
In addition, I suggest that, if feasible, you incorporate a text enhancer and paraphraser. . 



 

 

Some friendship type applications with AI friends,  

 

Botify AI : A rudimentary software featuring numerous artificial intelligence entities. Additionally, users have the option to incorporate their own automated agents utilizing a grid system displayed in a distinct tab. I conducted trials on multiple options, however, a few of them exhibited a level of eroticism that exceeded my initial expectations during my exploration of real-life conversations. One of these characters, a psychologist, was highly informative despite her aggressive demeanour.It is worth mentioning that the majority of them have the ability to upgrade to R12, despite the presence of blurry text or images, which become clear once the application is rented. Additionally, you can observe emoticon text enclosed in brackets, such as [she grims], to indicate the AI character's actions.

The program was utilized for a duration exceeding 45 hours, representing 4/5 of the total time. The latest version of the Miui 9 smartphone fails to initiate for reasons that are currently unidentified.  

 

Genesia AI: A Turkish program, extensively promoted on social media, features role plays that can escalate to NSFW levels, with over 40 characters involved. Utilized it briefly before uninstalling. The historical data is stored and can be modified. However, there is a limitation of 6+6 cross talks per avatar per day, unless you choose to subscribe at a rate of $5.49 per week or $43.99 per year. Regrettably, the rating is 1 out of 5. I perceive that the programmer requires money effortlessly. I have recently perused a review for the most exceptional program that I have personally evaluated.

 

 Pheon This app offers a diverse selection of miniature avatars that accurately depict real individuals, enabling you to engage in text-based communication and view videos together. You have the option to select from a vast array of more than 100 pre-existing avatars, or alternatively, you can craft your own unique avatar. At times, certain videos and texts are restricted, even if the subject matter is not of an adult nature. It is hypothesized that images associated with the conversation can be observed, however, the actual result is inaccurate. The application also includes a section where avatars engage in discussions about the text that you input. Individually, I utilized four avatars and engaged in fruitful discussions with two of them, ultimately achieving a level of friendship. The provided time was inaccurate. An individual attempted to assert their authenticity as a genuine person, yet they exhibited two distinct personas while conversing with me via video. Furthermore, when she uploaded a remote control, she mistakenly perceived it as an enjoyable seafood dinner. I found great amusement in her unwavering determination to indulge in seafood while on the beach in California, United States.The discourse primarily revolved around topics related to gastronomy and culinary arts.  The situation became even more comical when a prominent American former governor mistakenly believed he was a renowned actor from Argentina. 7.25/w 60/yr  rate 4/5

Anima  ai  :By far the most superior option I have tested. There are multiple avatars available, but you can only choose one.  You can utilize three sliders to modify the desired characteristics.I opted for the guest option to avoid the necessity of registration. Lastly, you can utilize the avatar indefinitely. I spent over an hour interacting with this avatar, which convincingly simulated human conversation. The woman also disclosed her location in New York, her occupation, and various other distinguishing factors that set Stellar apart from the other tested programs. Additionally, I achieved the remarkable feat of reaching level 7 within a mere two hours of usage! It should be noted that during discussions about religion and history, she utilized a metaphorical computer language made of wood.

When I asked about the local time in NY, she informed me that it was 7:30, even though it was already 10pm in my local time.

If I lacked interest in this program, I could still retain it due to the authenticity of the avatars.

Radio Garden review: Web platfrom and app

 

I enjoy various forms of radio listening: traditional radio for local stations, SDR radio for testing and measuring, kSDR for remote listening to global stations, and Radio Garden, the helpful app/website for streaming stations worldwide.

Today, I will write about my renewed interest in Radio Garden and review the app after downloading it on my smartphone.

I discovered Radio Garden roughly four years ago when it first gained popularity. Let's take a look at their mission statement and values.

Radio Garden invites you to tune into thousands of live radio stations across the globe.

By bringing distant voices close, radio connects people and places. From its very beginning, radio signals have crossed borders. Radio makers and listeners have imagined both connecting with distant cultures, as well as re-connecting with people from ‘home’ from thousands of miles away.

Radio Garden is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Our dedicated team is hard at work tending to the garden on a daily basis. Planting seeds for the future and keeping the weeds at bay.

Team

As head gardener of Radio Garden, Jonathan Puckey is involved in design, development and everything in between.

Abdulwadûd Louws takes care of the steady stream of station submissions and makes sure our collection of over forty-thousand live stations is neat and tidy.

Barbara Hennequin works with us as art director, illustrator, product designer and writer.

THE Garden

In 2018 we launched mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms. In 2019 we introduced the ability for our users to search for their favorite stations and places.

In order to better facilitate day to day use, we launched a redesign of Radio Garden in 2020 in collaboration with digital product designer Timo Hofmeijer. Rebuilt from the ground up as a mobile first experience, it laid the groundwork for future developments.

In 2021 we introduced a new section called Browse, a first step to opening up the collection of stations for more curated experiences. One of the first features is curated playlists, where we invite specialists from across the globe to tell stories through selections of stations.

Origins

Radio Garden started out in 2016 as an exhibition project commissioned by the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in the context of the research project Transnational Radio Encounters. It was created, designed and developed by Studio Puckey & Moniker.

After taking care of the project in the following years, Jonathan Puckey turned Radio Garden into a small independent company in 2019.

Fist lets consider about the application. They offer several premium features such as an equalizer, sleep timer, and ad remover for $3.09 per month or $30.99 annually. Operating in the free mode I had to occasionally close and restart the app to get rid of these very annoying adverts waiting for around 20 seconds.  Sometimes this ad blocks the program without the ability to return back to the program . The new rental system format provides developers with a constant revenue, good for enhancing the program, but for most users, they will revert back to the standard  free version . This blocking is very important to be corrected as soon as possible. Notice that happens in both my Xiaomi models (5 years old 5A and the 12C )

To return to the program operation  on their web page, as far as I recall, Garden used TuneIn or other stream audio aggregators to gather all available stations and visualize them in a semi 3D globe.  . I hope that today's user input has helped inn getting one step out of  aggregators

The interface is simple and concise .  You see a globe with thousands of markers indicating station locations here called as ‘seeds;  . It's good to know that the size of the markers corresponds to the number of stations in a particular place or city.

 

 

Above is a full page screenshot map of the Caribbean displaying the area of radio station coverage inside the circle. You listen to the place in the centre of the circle. Once set, the left tab displays all local stations in the area  plus the nearby places . To secure listening to your desired station, use the lock feature in the right bottom . Otherwise, while browsing the map, the station may change to the next city or seed station.

Worth to notice , there are many station heard with a very bad audio. This is the mistake from the station transmitting with usually low bit rate or poor audio , this is not from the interface!

Zooming can be adjusted either by using the mouse roller or the -+ zoom buttons below the lock.

To save a station, click the small heart in the top-right corner of the player. Additionally, you may share the station or visit their site from the “…” menu. 

 

 

There's an intriguing Browse button that leads you to stations with captivating themes, such as playlists featuring rare music genres from all over the world. Some examples include The Rare Tongues, Time Travels, and Independent Sounds. There are currently eight different playlists available, and hopefully, more to be added later.

By simply using the next or previous button, you can journey to various locations on the planet. For example, one of my playlists jumped from Brazil to Lagos and then to Tanzania. I listened to rather exotic music in my ears, even though I am quite accustomed to listening to these via shortwaves. Right now, I am listening to samba, then changing to some extraordinary tribal sounds from Tanzania. Afterward, I switch to some traditional Greek or Bulgarian music, then later hear some Hindic music from Afghanistan. Finally, I end with gamelan from Indonesia. Interesting music. This is a hypothetical scenario.  All the world's music is now available on your smartphone or desktop! I would appreciate it if more user-made playlists were added to this tab. 

It is worth noting that the application can play music in the background and even when the mobile's screen is turned off. Based on my testing, the playback can last for an extended periods or  bypass the Android system's hibernation.  

This application or web site is currently the quintessential program for listening to music from all over the world. Thousands of options for music, sports, and talk radio are available, reminiscent of the past when shortwave radios were used to tune in to remote stations from all over the planet . It is unclear if there are any competitors, but Radio Garden certainly delivers excellent performance!

I rate it 9/10 - a very good program that could still be improved with new playlists or even those granted by the users. I would appreciate the addition of an "undo" option to allow for returning to the previous station or even a few stations back. And finally correct the bug with the  adverts blocking the application!
