I m sure that there was an old article . searching my webpage here nothing was found>never mind as this period I m in total lock-down home , I decided to rewrite this article

The story has a long background . Many years ago since early as  2000, And while I was in summer vacations iI I used a my Sony 7600 radio or even my mini deck with medium waves to listen to this station on very late nights or midnights local time that lulled me with great music of the past ie 80s and 90s , getting away from the quite noisy talks of the earlier times.

Unfortunately the band is fulfilled by Romania ith many of its outlets that crowds the MW band. That is good and bad together   . As for example I can listen to RRA in the flowing frequencies  with  transmitters are can be found from mwlist page

That’s it  11!! frequencies clear  from any QRM except 1404 ERA Komotini that seems stopped recently . most of them are powerhouse with the best among them 855 and 1179 which are memorized in  all my radios for listening . In winter time thy can be faded in around 14-15 and leaked in around 18a and later> some of them are with around 10 KHZ wide audio

However deu to the problem wit the Covd 19 , on late times around 21 all the MW frequencies are used for relaying the news from the Romanian President that is with the addition of 630 755 720 1156 1314 1458 1593 and 153 on MW . 

Its also interesting to see on how the signals are dissipated in my town Thessaloniki as the time passes

the above poto shows the time this signals start fading up in my area on 1455 or local .You will see some dots above some peaks that show the visible channels from the 11 main station listing without the names.You also see some irregularities in the bands levels with 1100 having some highs. The RSP1a ia grounded into the air vent of a water radiator from the un-used  central heating system that acts as grounding

This is on  1537 as show above Just notice that nearly all stations from the table are shown, There is a weird of the photo program making the dot seem as 'zebra colored'

and here is the final screenshot from the SDRUno program showing all the stations from tηe above in a totally congested band As you may see,most pf the strongest stations comes from Romania and if you add the remain of the listing makes the stronest stations complete.Just notice that  the bandwidth used by the RSPalone compresses the visual  band limits by around 20-25 db lower  though in SDRconsole the curve is shown as linear in contrast to the above as you can see in the image below

It is also interesting to watch a few fading diagrams for 3 hours for 3 of the 11 main signals on the same time: The data come from the CSV data saved from the main spectrum

	Reception of 1404 from 1930  local time or 1630UTC for 2.5 hours of signal recording : the signal is already well received with medium to good that is nearly in its peak with lows to -70dbm
	Reception on 855: the signal is fading up from fair to good with higher fluctuations
	1179 The signal is quite low with very high fluctuations that et down to 30 db depth! This is my main freq
